As you are aware, we are given notice and have to find space within 24 hours. As our buffer homes are closed due to holidays, we had to scramble to find a spot for a mom and newborn babies even with an extension.
We also received notice of a few adults as well. Thanks to Elizabeth who responded to a Facebook plea, we had a safety net. Fortunately, one of the buffers who just checked email, will be home before Wednesday 5:00 deadline and is able to take the mom and litter.
What a relief. Just having Elizabeth’s application on hand and her being willing to take them, was reassuring just in case. Thank you thank you.
We’re hoping our other buffer mom will be able to take a few others as there is space at Animal Services.
Whew…no wonder I have high blood pressure.
