Knock on wood
It seems on the surface that rescue work is quiet with some adoption inquiries coming in. Quiet and simple. But it is neither. We are happy to receive several inquiries via email and Carol deals with them all…answering questions and arranging visits. Lots of coordinating and keeping track of who is interested in which cat….possible days and times for visits, deciding on locations for meeting, checking back to confirm with the adopter and then the fosters, having to change of plans and start all over again. Carol is amazing at this huge job.
And of course, the moment we think it’s quiet and adoptions are moving along, something happens…..kitty which will be adopted injured her eye during play time, foster concerned about her foster’s paw, rescues needing to move due to foster having work done in her home.
We need to carry some wood.
